Leticia holds a bachelor degree in International Studies from the University of Guadalajara and did an academic exchange at Université Paris IV- La Sorbonne.

 

She was head of department at the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit of Mexico where she worked on fiscal transparency and open budgets. She was given a full grant to participate representing the Ministry’s Fiscal Transparency Portal at the “Advancing Accountable Resource Governance in Asia Pacific Program” of the University of Gadjah Mada and the Natural Resources Governance Institute (NRGI) in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

 

She also worked as an independent consultant on Fiscal Transparency Portals for the Ministry of Finance of Perú and the World Bank.

 

As for her managerial experience, Leticia has worked in the private sector as Administration and Operations Directress at a housing start-up.
